Zortea Town – Malga Valsorda Alta

Departure from the Hotel lobby in Trentino at 9.30 am with our guide who will accompany you by bus to Mezzano. Turn right in the first crossroad to Imer towards Passo Gobbera (985m), from here you get directly to the village of Zortea, following the signals to the Calaita Lake.

When you reach the junction, follow the indications to Forcella Valsorda.

Continue climbing for the road that crosses the houses of Zortea Alta and that, with a steep pavement, goes into the woods of Val Zortei (the trail is very well signposted).

Continuing to rise, even with steep sections around, you have a wonderful view with with farmsteads and cottages until you get into the woods (about 800 m). The trail, which extends into a grassy and rocky background, offering magnificent scenery, leads to Forcella Valsorda (2095m) with a beautiful view of the Dolomites.

In about 30 minutes you arrive at the final destination: Malga Valsorda Alta (1824 m).

The way back is through the same path. Once back in the Trentino Hotel, you can regenerate hotels Trentino in the pool between a sauna and a Turkish bath in our wellness area, ideal after a busy day.
